Anticipated Sequels being released in 2019

These are just a few of the many sequels being released this year. The ones listed are just a few that I am extremely excited for and anticipating greatly. When I plan to read a series I wait for more than just one book to be released. This is because when I read the first book of the series, I just wanted to pick up the next book straight away. The sequels on this list have been spoken about by many people which have increased my interest in these stories even more.

The Wicked King by Holly Black which is the second book from The Folk of the Air series. It is not a surprise that this book would be on this list since everyone has been talking about it. The first book of this series is The Cruel Prince which was published last year, and everyone was saying fantastic things about it. This book was released on the 8th of January.

Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard is the next release which I am really excited about. It will be released on the 12th of February and is the third book of The Witchlands series. The first book of this series is Truthwitch which was followed by Windwitch. This series has received many good reviews and has been on my TBR for a while.

The next book on this list is The Blood Spell by C.J. Redwine which will also be released on the 12th of February. The first three books in this series were The Shadow Queen, The Wish Granter, and The Traitor Prince. Again, these books were spoken about a lot when they were each released which is part of the reason I am really excited to read the series.

Finale by Stephanie Garber which is the third book in the Caraval series. The first book of the series is Caraval and the second book of the series is Legendary. This book will be released on the 7th of May.

The last book on my list is The Toll by Neal Shusterman. This is the third book of the Arc of a Scythe series. The release date for this series has not been announced but it has been said that it will be released in 2019. The first two books of these series, Scythe and Thunderhead have been greatly hyped up and spoken about a lot just like the rest of the books on this list.

An honourable mention that I just had to include on this list is The World of Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. This book is part of the Throne of Glass series but I don’t believe that it is actually a sequel of the series. This book is said to be like the official guide to the Throne of Glass world. It will be released on the 1st of October.

These are a few of the sequels I am anticipating this year. Later this week I will be posting other book releases I am excited for that are not part of a series. Thanks for reading this post. Please follow my blog so you can stay up to date with new content.

Keep reading, Tara.
