Hi Guys! In this post, I am going to be giving a few debut books which I really enjoyed and would recommend. These books are the first books written and published by some of my favourite authors. There may be some overlap with my favourite author’s post which can be found here and some of my future posts.
The first book that I am going to be talking about is very obvious and that is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. I have mentioned this series a lot. I recently reread this book and I still love it so much. This was J.K. Rowling’s first book published and is now a worldwide phenomenon with a fantastic film series also.
The next debut book is Cinder by Marissa Meyer. This is the first book in The Lunar Chronicles. This book is an amazing debut and start of a series. I plan on finishing The Lunar Chronicles in February and still love the world and characters. Since writing and publishing Cinder and this series, Marissa Meyer has released the Renegades series which has also received a lot of hype.
The last book that I will be mentioning is the Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I was really surprised that is was a debut novel since it was excellently written. I had watched the movie before I had read the book and I think that it was one of the best book to film adaptations I had watched.
Thanks for reading my post. Remember to like this post and follow my blog to stay up to date on my content.
