On My Shelf Tag

Hey guys! So this post is the On my shelf tag. I was not tagged to do this post but I thought it was really interesting. In this tag you pick random numbers and pick the corresponding book. I will give a little back story on each book I pick. I first saw this post on The Nameless Book Blog and I will link the post here.

  • 4. Graevale – Lynette Noni. This is the fourth book in the Medoran Chronicles which is a fantasy series. I originally bought this book and the whole series because it sounded really interesting. Also the last book in the series is being released this year. I haven’t read this book or started the series yet.
  • 7. Turtles All the Way Down – John green. This is a contemporary stand alone novel. I originally bought this book because I love John Green’s other books. I haven’t read this story yet.
  • 12. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – J.K. Rowling. This is the first book in the new series of fantasy screenplays. These screenplays are set in the same world as Harry Potter but at a different time. I have read this book and gave it 3/5 stars.
  • 19. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – J.K. Rowling. This is the sixth book in this well known fantasy series. I have read the first four books in the series and loved them but I have not read this one yet. I have also watched all the movies and they are fantastic.
  • 23. Red Queen – Victoria Aveyard. This is the first book in the Red Queen series. I finished this series this year and really enjoyed this fantasy story, however it took me awhile to finish it. I gave it 4/5 stars and thought that it reminded me of The Hunger Games.
  • 28. Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo This is the second book in the Six of Crows duology. I have not read this book but I bought it because of the hype.
  • 37. Nevernight – Jay Kristoff. This is the first book in the Nevernight Chronicles. This is unread but I really want to read it. I have heard so many great things about this fantasy series.
  • 43. Jane Eyre – Charlotte Bronte. This is a classic novel that I also haven’t read yet. I only bought this book last month when I went on a book buying binge and bought a lot of classics.
  • 51. To Kill A Mockingbird – Harper Lee. This is a classic novel and remains unread on my bookshelf. I did try to read it once but decided to then read something else instead. I am really looking forward to reading this book in the future.
  • 70. Empire of Storm – Sarah J Maas. This is the fifth book in The Throne of Glass series which is a fantasy series. I have not read this book yet because I am very intimidated by how long and hyped this series is.
  • 78. Scarlet – Marissa Meyer. This is the second book in The Lunar Chronicles which is a Fantasy/sci-fi/dystopian series. I have read this story and gave it 3.5/5 stars. I finished this series this year and I loved it so much.
  • 88. Cruel Beauty – Rosamund Hodge. This is a stand alone, fantasy, Beauty and the beast retelling. I have not read it yet. The author has also written another stand alone retelling which is a Red Riding Hood story.
