Books That Made Me Cry

Hey Guys! So today’s post is going to be about some of the books that made me cry but also movies and tv shows which were originally books that made me cry. There will be ***spoilers ahead*** since I will be saying why they made me cry.

The first one is quite obvious and that is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I feel like everyone has either read this book or at least watched the movie. I personally started crying when Augustus announced that he was sick again. I was also crying when he died.

The next on is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Towards the end of this book when Snow has been defeated there is a terrible death which honestly broke my heart. This death was Primrose who had died from a bomb explosion. It also made me cry more when Katniss realised that this bomb design was the same as the one that Gale had designed.

The next part of this post will be about movies and tv shows which were first books that had made me cry. I have not read all of these books yet which is why I have decided to make this a separate part of the post.

The first book is Perks of Being a Wallflower. I have read part of this book but had stopped half way through. This book deals a lot with mental illness. I cried when Charlie felt isolated and alone when his friends left to go to college.

The next one is another obvious one. It is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The death of sirius Black at the end of Order of the Phoenix and the death of Dumbledore at the end of Half-Blood Prince.

Thanks for reading my post. Remember to like this post and follow my blog to stay up to date on my content.

Keep Reading, Tara.
