Changes + Where I Have Been

Hey Guys! So I have been absent from my blog lately. This post will just be explaining where I have been and what I am planning for the future.

First off, I have changed the name of my blog and instagram. When I first created this blog it was sort of rushed. I feel like I connect more with this name. My posting schedule will also be changing. I hope to be posting 3 days a week in the future but they will not be on specific days. However, the first few weeks there may only be one or two posts a week while I get back into the swing of things.

There will be some changes to the content I am creating. I first decided to take a break from blogging because I felt like my posts were very repetitive. I would post TBRs, monthly reflections, hauls and tags. I will be posting a lot more book reviews in the future and maybe even some movie reviews if you guys are interested.

In the future I will not be posting monthly TBRs anymore. I will be posting a list of books which I want to read as soon as possible but without the time restraint of a month period. Some months I really enjoy have a TBR because it gives my month some structure but most months it just gives me a lot of unnecessary pressure and causes me to go into a reading slump.

I have also decided not to participate in readathons every month. Just like TBRs these seem to make me feel really pressured and I end up not reading anything. In the future I do wish to participate in some particular readathons but at the moment I will not be completing any.

I have taken a bit of a break because I have not been able to think of any creative, new blog post ideas. As mentioned before, I feel like my posts are very repetitive. I will be trialling some new post ideas that I discovered from other bloggers which I will mention in the respective blog posts.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope that you continue to follow my journey on this blog and my bookstagram. I would greatly appreciate it if you would follow my blog and instagram. Thanks for reading, Tara.
