Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. The last couple of months I have gotten back into reading, however a lot of changes have happened which has stumped my reading. Some personal changes have happened which I’m do not really want to talk about yet. I have also started to tab/annotate the books I am reading. Since I have only just started doing this I am still getting into the habit of doing it so it is slowing down my reading.

In today’s post I am going to talk about hyped books. Most of the unread books on my shelves have been hyped on booktube and bookstagram which is why I bought them in the first place. Having all these books on my shelves which have been so hyped makes them a little daunting which is one of the many reasons I think that I have not been reading lately.

One of the most hyped book/series on my shelf is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I did make the decision to read her first series, the Shadow and Bone trilogy before reading Six of Crows to avoid any spoilers. I have read the first book, Shadow and Bone and I loved it so much. I have not continued with the series and I feel like a big reason for this is because I am scared that I am not gonna like it as much as everyone else.

Another hyped book/series on my shelves is Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. When I first bought this book the only thing I knew about it was that it was about an assassin. I have since learnt that it is actually an adult book and not a young adult book. This does not bother me too much, it is an important thing to know. I have previously tried to read this book and I finished the first chapter. It is very uniquely written and many people who love this book say that after like 100-150 pages is when you started to get into the story.

Please comment below some blog posts which you would love to see on this blog. Thanks for reading and I would really appreciate it if you would like and follow my blog. Keep Reading, Tara.
